For OHV riders, beach lovers, and group campers looking to stay close to the action, USFS Sand Camping #2 and #3 offer one of the most exciting and affordable ways to camp on the Oregon Coast. These are dry, self-contained camping areas located directly on the sand, giving you front-row access to the Umpqua Dunes riding area and just a short ride or walk to the beach.
Whether you're coming with a few friends or a large group, there's space to spread out and enjoy. Rates are just $10 per night for standard sites (up to 5 vehicles/20 people) and $20 per night for group sites (up to 10 vehicles/40 people), making it perfect for weekend rides or longer dune adventures. This is sand camping so you must be able to drive in the sand dunes.
USFS Sand Camping #2 starts at the bottom of Banshee HIll and goes south. USFS Sand Camping #3 starts at 3rd beach parking lot and goes to the South Boundary Line.
